PREGNANCY MASSAGE
Our therapists are fully qualified and knowledgeable in all aspects of pregnancy massage including techniques, positioning, common problem areas and contra-indications. We have a tailor-made belly pillow and electric table for your comfort, or offer side-lying position if preferred.

RELAXATION MASSAGE

It doesn't have to be "no pain, no gain". If you just want to de-stress we provide a firm, relaxing, tension-eliminating treatment. We can tailor our treatments specifically to your needs. Choose from either a 1 hour or 1.5 hour full body massage, and let our ambient music and essential oils take you away to another place.

REFLEXOLOGY
We are qualified in the ancient oriental tradition of Reflexology. This modality is based upon the principle that aspects of the feet represent specific areas of the body. Therefore conditions can be treated through the feet only, to balance and harmonise all the systems in the body and promote general health and wellbeing. This therapy is a thoroughly relaxing and enjoyable experience.

AROMATHERAPY
Aromatherapy is often thought of as a very relaxing style of treatment but, given the numerous properties of essential oils, it can also be used within remedial massage to aid physical healing. For example, lavender is anti-inflammatory so is useful for muscular aches and pains but it also has sedative properties which can help with anxiety, irritability and stress.
Before your treatment, you will have a consultation where you can tell the therapist what you hope to achieve during your treatment. During the massage, the oils are absorbed through the skin and into the body where they continue to heal and help you for several hours following your treatment. The style of massage performed by the therapist depends on your desired outcome... it can be deep tissue/remedial massage to address specific soft tissue problems or it can be a more gentle massage to aid relaxation if you are looking for help with emotional/stress support.

ABOUT
At Mundaring Massage Therapy we have two exceptional Remedial Massage Therapists, Karina and Suzie. Together we have a combined experience of over 23 years in the industry.
We have completed the Diploma of Remedial Massage, an intensive two year course covering many modalities of massage including Deep tissue, Trigger Point Therapy, Myofascial Release, Reflexology, Sports, and Swedish massage. Since graduating we have also completed further study in areas including Pregnancy massage, Sports training and Advanced Myofascial Release. We utilise all of these in our clinic to provide you with the best treatment.
Our therapists are also Massage and Myotherapy Australia members, which means we can provide you with Health Care Rebates and are governed by high association standards.
Our massage room is fitted with a very comfortable electric table, fresh linen, ambient music and essential oils, so even if you are seeing us for a remedial treatment, it will still be a relaxing experience.
CANCELLATIONS
We require 24-hours notice of cancellation.
Because we reserve a time especially for you, please make any scheduling changes at least 24 hours before your booking to avoid incurring a cancellation fee (50% of the treatment value). If you have any queries about cancelling your appointment, please get in touch with us to discuss.
